THE SLEEVELESS KNIT

Knitted Top // OASIS (See similar below)
Jeans // TOPSHOP
Bag // ZARA
Shoes // MISSGUIDED (similar HERE & HERE)

I love this time of year, when the seasons are changing along with the wardrobe edit.
However, what I don't like is that the English weather can not make up its mind! We have had a few days of sunshine but I am sure the rain clouds will soon be back.

With the erratic weather the main wardrobe question I ask myself is what should I wear and buy whilst the seasons change into Spring. This is where the sleeveless knit comes in!! If its sunny your arms can be out catching the rays and if the rain clouds and cold weather descends it can be layered up over a long sleeve top or a wrap coat.

I have put together a small edit of sleeveless knits I am loving right now. Check them out below.

SLOGAN SUNDAY

 Sweatshirt // BOOHOO
Jeans // TOPSHOP
Bag // GLAMOUROUS (alternative colour here)
Shoes // OFFICE

What better way to spend a Sunday than snuggled up in a cosy sweatshirt. This Boohoo slogan jumper is the perfect mix of comfy, casual and eye-catching. The monochrome slogan I just love, really makes this simple black sweatshirt stand out!

I have paired it with my trusty Topshop ripped jaime jeans but it would also look great with mom jeans. To be honest, I think this sweatshirt would look great with anything from culottes to skirts because of the monochrome palette. It is the perfect staple piece to have in your wardrobe whilst we transition into summer.

These heeled leather shoe boots from Office are also a great staple to have and they are now in the sale!! They dress up this casual outfit along with the clutch from Glamourous which adds a pop of colour. Unfortunately the green clutch has sold out but I have linked the navy version instead.

This outfit is great for a Sunday, chilled enough for relaxing but the heels and clutch mean you are ready incase you fancy nipping out for your Sunday dinner. If your feet can not handle heels on a Sunday this outfit would also look great paired with trainers!

I would love to hear what you think. Comment below or come say hi over on my twitter!

LONDON WANDERING

Top // PRIMARK (alternative from TOPSHOP)
Bag // TOPSHOP (alternative from MONKI)
Adidas Stan Smiths // OFFICE
Hat // MISS SELFRIDGE (alternative from LASULA)

Thought I would share these casual street style shots I took when in London before Christmas. I was doing a lot of walking/christmas shopping so wanted an outfit perfect for a wintery day of running errands. I often wear all black in situations where plans can change, it is suitable if the day of errands and shopping turns into dinner or drinks. I paired the all black ensemble with my Stan Smiths for comfort and this lovely statement faux fur bobble hat.

Hope you all had a lovely Christmas and an amazing New Year!! Lots to come in 2016 so make sure to keep stopping by.

A MODERN TAKE ON A CLASSIC

Top // H&M (similar here)
Trousers // TOPSHOP
Bag // ZARA
Shoes // TOPSHOP (similar here)
Bangles // ZARA (similar here)
Watch // MICHAEL KORS

Going for drinks with friends or on a date night? I think this is the perfect outfit option!!

This midi wrap around shirt is a modern take on the classic white shirt. I love everything about it, the floaty fabric, the length, the wrap detail, the plunge neckline. I think it is the perfect mix of fashionable, elegant and a little sexy!

The shirt is styled for an evening out with black jeans and the Topshop Gillian heels which have sold out in black. They do still have them in rust which would look great with this outfit and I have also found an almost identical pair from ASOS for almost half the price!

If your want to wear this shirt styled down in the day pair it with Adidas Stan Smiths, a leather jacket and a chunky scarf.

What do you think to this outfit? How would you style this shirt? Comment below or send me a tweet, I would love to hear from you.

LOVING LACE UP

Top // MISS GUIDED
Jeans // ZARA
Bag // DEPOP (alternative from NET-A-PORTER or HERE)
Shoes // TOPSHOP

You probably already know this but one of the key trends this summer was lace up! It was seen on tops, dresses, shoes, even the outside legs of jeans saw the eyelet & lace up detail. This trend sees no sign of stopping for winter so I thought this was a great transitional piece that will take me between summer & winter whilst still incorporating the lace up trend.

As we have not quite reached freezing temperatures yet I choose to style this blouse with  blue jeans & the Topshop 'Nugget' sandals (again note the lace up trend!). However as the months get colder I will be teaming it with a chunky cardigan, black jeans & ankle or knee high boots. This top would also be great for night with leather trousers, heels & a clutch bag.

Finally, look at the bag!! I would love to say it is the real Chloe Drew, unfortunately not but it is a very good replica style that I found on Depop. I have included links above for the real thing & a great looking copy incase the real Drew is a little out of budget like it was for me!

What do you think to this outfit? How would you style this top? Comment below or send
me a tweet, I would love to hear from you.

ADDICTED TO STRIPES

Jacket // TOPSHOP (similar here)
Top // TOPSHOP (alternative from EBAY)
Vest // PRIMARK (alternative from ASOS)
Trousers // ZARA (alternative from ASOS)
Shoes // KURT GEIGER (similar here)

I have a confession to make ... I am addicted to stripes! 90% of the patterned pieces in my wardrobe are striped & I probably own over seven Breton t-shirts! I am a little obsessed, so when I saw these striped trousers hanging on the rail in Zara I was instantly drawn to them. At £7 in the sale there was no question, they were taken to the till straight away before any other sale shoppers could snatch them from my grasp.

Stripes are a S/S15 trend that I will be getting on board with. I think these trousers are a perfect alternative to the classic Breton t-shirt to add stripes into your wardrobe. I have styled them with a black sheer top, leather jacket & my favourite silver Kurt Geiger heels to dress them up & give them an edgy feel perfect for an evening out.

I do recommend going to Zara to see if you can pick these trousers up before they go. What do you think to these trousers & how would you recommend styling them?

WINTER NEUTRALS

Coat // TOPSHOP (alternative from ASOS)
Jumper // H&M (alternative from RIVERISLAND)
Jamie Jeans // TOPSHOP
Clutch Bag // ASOS (alternative from ASOS)
Nude Heels // TOPSHOP (alternative from TOPSHOP or BOOHOO)
Michael Kors Lexington Watch // NET-A-PORTER
BeautyUk Nail Varnish Cherry Bomb // SUPERDRUG

Normally during the winter season we put the lighter colour palettes we wore in the summer away & replace them with darker pieces. I do love a good black or navy outfit this time of year but I still like to keep the pretty, softer colours in my wardrobe.

When wearing neutral tones in winter it is important to still make the outfit look & feel cosy. This can be done by adding soft, chunky textures through knitwear & warm tones by wearing gold accessories. I also like to add a wintery nail polish like this lovely cherry bomb colour from BeautyUk perfect for the festive season.

Unfortunately most of the items I am wearing are now out of stock but I have found some great alternatives. What do you think?

FRINGE, SEQUINS & KNEE HIGH BOOTS

Tunic // TOPSHOP
Jacket // BELOVED Concession at Topshop (alternative from MISS GUIDED
Bag // PRIMARK (alternative from ASOS)
Boots // ZARA

Fringe, sequins & knee high boots are three different trends perfect for this winter season. Instead of wearing these separately I decided to take a risk combining all three into one outfit & it works! The different textures add a little something special allowing me to leave the accessorising to a minimum.

I love everything about this outfit but the boots have to be my favourite. They are the best purchase I have made all season, if I could wear them with my pyjamas I would! They make any outfit feel stylish even when thrown on with jeans & a T-shirt, definitely a must have.

What do you think? Which is your favourite piece?
