THE MOST STYLISH MONSTER I EVER DID SEE...

Halloween is creeping up on us so it is the perfect time to create a look featuring a stylish monster. This is not your usual monster, it is the luxurious Fendi kind! You have probably already seen the Fendi Bag Bug Monster, well now they have evolved! The fluffy eyebrows can be found on shoes, bags, coats, rucksacks & more. I have taken the 'Bag Bug' playfulness as inspiration & created two looks centred around my favourite piece the Fendi Micro Bag Bug Baguette Bag

I love mixing contrasting textures in fashion so the fluffiness & embellishment against the soft leather make this the perfect bag for me. I have taken inspiration from these playful textures when styling the two looks.

Look number one has been styled with an embellished jean & fluffy coat. I have dressed it up with another Fendi monster this time the heeled kind. You could also style this look with trainers if you preferred a more casual look.

Look two is a dressed up look again playing with textures. I have styled the bag with this gorgeous lace dress. It is a statement piece but the monochrome of the lace lets the colourful bag & other accessories be the main feature. This look is fun even down to the circular shapes on the Nicholas Kirkwood boots.

What do you think to the furry Fendi Monster, which look is your favourite? Comment below or tweet me!

HALLOWEEN EDIT.

It is that time of year once again, Halloween is on Friday & I am very excited. For me this is the start of all the winter festivities; this is where my countdown to Christmas begins!

I do enjoy Halloween, the pumpkin carving, people trick or treating & everyone coming together in a variety of fascinating costumes. However when it comes to me dressing up I am uncertain. The reason being, spending money on a fancy dress costume I will never wear again. My approach to Halloween is to buy a main piece such as a dress, which I love & can wear again then adding themed accessories, exaggerated makeup & splatters of fake blood to make it more Halloween night appropriate.

So that is the approach I have taken for my Halloween edit. The pieces could be worn together or built upon to create a perfect themed outfit suitable for a ghoulish dinner party or a bewitching night out and with the majority of pieces you can continue to wear them into the winter months.
