WISHLIST. ASOS

This week I held a Twitter vote to see which post you would all like to see this weekend and the ASOS wishlist won so here it is!!

With the sun making an appearance over the last week or so I have started lusting over more summery pieces, hence the items in my wish list that might not be able to be worn for a month or two.

Slip dresses are one of the big trends for S/S16 and I am in love with this Millie Mackintosh Slip Dress. If you wanted to invest now then you could style it up with a chunky knit and jacket until the warmer months. I also need to add the Boohoo Fringe Sandals to my summer buys before they sell out, they would be the perfect summer staple shoe and appear to be more expensive than they are!!

Let me know what you think and feel free to say hello in the comments below or tweet me. Also remember to follow me on twitter to get involved in my blog post twitter votes in the future. I would love to hear which posts your would like to see.

VALENTINES EDIT

Valentine's Day will soon be here so I have put together a little edit of my favourite lingerie pieces perfect for Valentines or a little treat.

I am currently loving bodies, they not only look great as lingerie but are perfect for layering if you want to try the underwear as outwear trend. Wearing them with a little lace showing under low button shirts or V neck jumpers & t-shirts looks great. Perfect for adding excitement to a simple outfit.

Hope you like this edit. Would love to hear what you think in the comments below or tweet me!

NYE EDIT

My last few New Years have been amazing! Last year was spent at The Trafalgar Hotel watching the fire works on their rooftop bar. Then the year before was another trip to London joining everyone on the embankment to celebrate the famous striking of Big Ben at Midnight.

This year is a little less glamorous, my boyfriend unfortunately has work very early on the 1st so that means no adventures away from home. This year it will be spent the two of us at home with me attempting to cook some sort of three course meal (who am I kidding it will probs end up a cheat M&S two dine for £20!!) Even though we are staying in I will still be dressing up for the occasion as it is New Year after all & no matter what you do I think that some glamour has to be involved!!

If you still are unsure of what to wear hopefully this New Years Eve Edit will give you some inspiration. The last delivery dates for these items are below so make sure you don't miss out.

Topshop - 30th December, 4pm. (Next Day Delivery)
ASOS - 30th December, 8pm. (Next Day Delivery)

What are you doing for New Year & what will you be wearing? Comment below or tweet me!

THE MOST STYLISH MONSTER I EVER DID SEE...

Halloween is creeping up on us so it is the perfect time to create a look featuring a stylish monster. This is not your usual monster, it is the luxurious Fendi kind! You have probably already seen the Fendi Bag Bug Monster, well now they have evolved! The fluffy eyebrows can be found on shoes, bags, coats, rucksacks & more. I have taken the 'Bag Bug' playfulness as inspiration & created two looks centred around my favourite piece the Fendi Micro Bag Bug Baguette Bag

I love mixing contrasting textures in fashion so the fluffiness & embellishment against the soft leather make this the perfect bag for me. I have taken inspiration from these playful textures when styling the two looks.

Look number one has been styled with an embellished jean & fluffy coat. I have dressed it up with another Fendi monster this time the heeled kind. You could also style this look with trainers if you preferred a more casual look.

Look two is a dressed up look again playing with textures. I have styled the bag with this gorgeous lace dress. It is a statement piece but the monochrome of the lace lets the colourful bag & other accessories be the main feature. This look is fun even down to the circular shapes on the Nicholas Kirkwood boots.

What do you think to the furry Fendi Monster, which look is your favourite? Comment below or tweet me!

A/W EDIT. BOOTS

The hunt for the perfect Winter Coat & Boots has begun so I thought I would share with you an edit of the boots I am loving at the moment!

There is a common pattern emerging...most of these...correction, ALL of these boots have heels. For me personally I am not a big fan of wearing flat boots unless they are over the knee or knee high. The reason being I feel they make my legs look too short so when buying an ankle boot I always go for a heel even if it is little to elongate my legs.

This season I am definitely going to buy the Over the Knee Taupe Suede Boots from Public Desire, I love them!! I think they will be so versatile with jeans, dresses, for day or night, you get the idea!! I am also going to invest in a new pair of heeled ankle boots, I just still can't decide which ones....

Which do you think? And what do you think to this edit/post? Comment below or tweet me!

H&M SALE EDIT.

This mornings ritual began with checking emails in bed with a peppermint tea (new favourite morning drink) in hand when I came across the H&M sale email, it was too hard to resist taking a peek!!

That's right you guessed it a peek turned into me placing an order. I picked up the Studio silk snake patterned dress, graphic tee, knitted top in beige & the peep toe boots but I wanted all of the above & still very tempted to make another order before they sell out!!

When they arrive I will do a try on post so make sure you keep an eye out for that & remember to check out the H&M SALE available online & in store. Let me know if you pick anything up.

WEEKLY WISHLIST. DAY TO NIGHT

Day Look
Night Look

Whilst creating this post I realised the items I have been lusting after this week work well as outfits, so this is a 'Weekly Wishlist' with a difference. Using my favourite pieces I have shown how to create two different looks keeping the jumpsuit as the centrepiece. Changing shoes & accessories to take you from day to night.

I find it is important during the party season to be able to change your look quickly with minimal effort, incase you do not have time to venture home between that festive lunch date and christmassy night out.

What do you think to the two looks? Which do you prefer day or night?

HALLOWEEN EDIT.

It is that time of year once again, Halloween is on Friday & I am very excited. For me this is the start of all the winter festivities; this is where my countdown to Christmas begins!

I do enjoy Halloween, the pumpkin carving, people trick or treating & everyone coming together in a variety of fascinating costumes. However when it comes to me dressing up I am uncertain. The reason being, spending money on a fancy dress costume I will never wear again. My approach to Halloween is to buy a main piece such as a dress, which I love & can wear again then adding themed accessories, exaggerated makeup & splatters of fake blood to make it more Halloween night appropriate.

So that is the approach I have taken for my Halloween edit. The pieces could be worn together or built upon to create a perfect themed outfit suitable for a ghoulish dinner party or a bewitching night out and with the majority of pieces you can continue to wear them into the winter months.
